GPS or Global Positioning System is a satellite navigation system that helps determine the exact location of any person or object on earth. GPS o Sistema de Posicionamiento Global es un sistema de navegación por satélite que permite determinar la ubicación exacta de cualquier persona u objeto en la tierra. GPS is formed from a constellation of twenty four satellites. GPS está formado por una constelación de veinticuatro satélites. Developed and controlled by the US Department of Defense it is now largely used for common good. Desarrollados y controlados por los EE.UU. Departamento de Defensa ahora es utilizado en gran medida para bien común. It is a useful tool for scientific uses, land surveying, map making, commerce and even hobbies like geocaching.
